ABIR YAAKOV - Youth Division
In 2020 a group of youth came together and started discussing how they felt that there was no synagogue that catered to their needs. They were looking to build a synagogue and series of programs that would help them grow in their Judaism, stay true to their roots, create lasting bonds and foster a love for Torah true Judaism, all in a fun and inclusive environment. With the encouragement of several Rabbis and community leaders, Abir Yaakov was born.
With the guidance of Salomon Bendayan and Rabbi Jacob Benlolo, Abir Yaakov today boasts more than 50 active members who participate in prayer services and events. Its members come from all schools and walks of life including Yavne, Hebrew Academy, Maimonides, Yeshiva Gedola, Bialik and Public school etc. All members have formed a deep connection to the minyan, their rich heritage and to each other.
